This fine art piece is a digital collage depicting Grace Slick with characters and symbols from the world of Lewis Carrolle’s book ‘Alice in Wonderland’ stenciled around her. I am inspired by Grace and her song ‘White Rabbit’ that became famous at the iconic ‘Woodstock’ event in the 1960s. I used a psychedelic colour palette to represent the 60’s culture and chose the graffiti style to represent anti-establishment, reinforced with Grace’s ‘flip off’ in the piece.
