This fine art piece is a digital photo fantasy composition, depicting two characters that are from the Victorian era, stiffly posing with no expression for a photograph before they perform in a concert. To set the mood of the scene, I chose a desaturated colour palette with blue undertones to give a Gothic feel, while adding grungy texture to convey a bygone time; a story of indifference versus attempted adherence to societal norms.
UPDATE: I’ve made designs for my Zazzle store by splitting this piece into two. So I have made designs using the goth girl with the violin.
